I'm surely not the first, but welcome to 2026. Hope the holidays treated you well. I took a few weeks off to recharge, but I'm back and excited to share two major updates to Thinking Folds heading into the new year.
One. We're expanding to two posts a week starting next week.
Fridays — the usual. Biotech startups, investment trends, the deals reshaping drug discovery and commercialization. The deep dives into companies building the infrastructure for modern biology.
Tuesdays — a different format. Faster, shorter, more frequent coverage. The biotech world moves quickly. One day a week doesn't leave room to keep up. Adding a second day does.
Two. Bringing on an editor to help scale this thing and keep the engine running.
Writing Thinking Folds has been one of the most rewarding projects I've taken on. But doing it solo has limits. Adding an editor means I can focus on finding the stories worth telling while someone else helps tell the stories better.
